Tripp Lite’s SR12UB premium SmartRack 12U Enclosure system is designed to simplify rack system installations and rack equipment maintenance. Compatible with all standard 18-inch rack equipment, it contains a front and rear duo of vertical rails with square mounting holes. The rails are increased in quarter-inch increments to accommodate equipment depths from 4 to 33.6 inches, used for standard server installation. The rails can support up to 1500 lbs. of equipment. The top and bottom areas are provided with ports for connecting cable routing and furnished with vents equipped to help remove warm air from the enclosure and draw in cold air by convection. The panels also support the installation of standard user-supplied case fans. With a locking reversible front view and locking removable side panels, the 12U rack case provides the secure, safe installation of all material. To simplify deployment, the SR12UB comes with a materials caster kit to easily be maneuvered into the needed location and then secured in place by adjusting the unit’s levelers. It moves fully assembled for quick installation.

The rails feature square mounting holes and can support up to 1500 lbs. of materials with included installation hardware. The top and bottom areas are also provided with ports for connecting cables. Each rack space within the closure is numbered for easy reference.
Secure Equipment Access
They are designed to provide a safe, secure installation solution for up to 1500 lbs. of mission-critical rackmount material. It contains a locking, reversible front door and locking removable side area. This prevents illegal access to installed material while making it easy for legal personnel to perform maintenance, inspection and material replacement.
Convection Cooling
The top and bottom areas are furnished with vents equipped to improve, remove warm air from the enclosure and place in cold air by convection. The panels also support the installation of standard user-supplied case fans.
Casters for Mobility
it comes with an accessory caster kit consisting of 4 casters and all required installation hardware. With the casters installed, the 12U rack case can easily be maneuvered into the recommended area and then secured in place by increasing the unit’s levelers. Note: the casters are intended for minor position adjustments within the final installation area only and are not designed for moving the enclosure over long distances.
SKB RACK CASES – Standard
This type of case, molded from ultra-high molecular weight polyethene, is less than half the weight of standard wooden racks, has gasket seals and is water-resistant and dustproof. It is also intended to prevent larger rack-mounting equipment; they have mounting rails and removable lids at the front and rear. This enables the stands to firmly connect the system without any disturbance, no matter the situation.
